After twenty years in the financial sector, Ulrik Schreiner is now moving from banking into housing. BoligPortal’s new CCO previously worked with Danske Bank and Sydbank where he had commercial responsibilities and held a number of management positions in sales and business development.

In his new job, 39-year-old Schreiner will apply his commercial acumen to further the fortunes of Denmark’s largest rental housing platform, which has ventured into new business areas, including as a provider of market data to clients in the property sector. With his experience from the financial sector, he will have a keen eye for fine-tuning the commercial strategy directed at the market and the customers.

“BoligPortal has made great strides developing the business in recent years, and I’m very excited to be joining the next stretch of that journey. I look forward to accelerating the transition from being a marketplace for rental properties to becoming the preferred partner of the property sector and a provider of more than twenty years of data from the rentals market,” says Schreiner.

As overall responsible for sales at BoligPortal, Schreiner will also be in charge of driving sales processes and engaging in dialogue with clients and business partners. This will include developing the company’s strategic partnerships for the benefit of both tenants and landlords.

“I’m really looking forward to pursuing the new revenue streams which BoligPortal has created and to engage with customers and business partners in the market. Strategic partnerships offer a huge potential, and so do the new services and solutions we introduce to tenants, landlords and other operators in the sector on an ongoing basis. I’m confident that we’ll be generating even more value for our clients in the future,” says Schreiner.

Ulrik Schreiner is a trained banking adviser and an estate agent. He holds an HD graduate diploma in financial advisory services from the University of Southern Denmark. Last year, he completed his MBA from Aarhus University.
